After their spectacular victory against the Hamburg Sea Devils in last year's ELF final, the Vienna Vikings are entering their second season in the European League of Football in June, with the goal of defending their title. The Wiener team will play their home opener at Generali Arena on Saturday, June 17th. The league newcomers, the Prague Lions, will be the guests for the game.

The following three home games will be played by the Vienna Vikings at Hohe Warte. Fans can look forward to top-class football and thrilling event atmosphere in the heart of Vienna's Döbling district. At the 'Holy' Warte – as many traditional Vikings fans have called Hohe Warte over the years – the ELF champions will welcome the Leipzig Kings (June 24), Wroclaw Panthers (July 15), and Berlin Thunder (July 22).

The single-game tickets for the first four home games are exclusively available via > Ticketmaster Austria. Season ticket holders have already had the opportunity to select their seats both at Generali Arena and Hohe Warte. Single-game tickets start at 10 euros. Of course, there are multiple categories to choose from. A new addition to the ticketing options is the Vienna Vikings Family Ticket. For a complete overview, visit > Ticketmaster Austria.

The champ takes on the kings, panthers & thunder at Hohe Warte

"Wherever we play, that's where the champions play! In the ELF, we are undefeated in Vienna. And we plan on remaining unbeaten in our hometown. I am very much looking forward to the games at Hohe Warte. Of course, I have special memories of this historic venue. I celebrated great Vikings wins at Hohe Warte, and I'd like to add some more victories to that list this season." – Head Coach Chris Calaycay, who has celebrated numerous victories at Hohe Warte both as a player and coach.

"In celebration of the Vienna Vikings' 40th anniversary, we are bridging the gap between a glorious past and a promising future, which also significantly influenced our decision regarding the stadiums for our home games this year. The successful Vikings tradition book will grow with additional chapters written on almost historical football fields in 2023. We aim to write three victorious chapters at Hohe Warte in 2023. We are very excited about the home games in Döbling. We will communicate the locations for the games against the Raiders and the Enthroners in due course." – Robin Lumsden, Co-Owner Vienna Vikings.

For First Vienna FC 1894 Managing Director Thomas Loy, it is a full circle: "We are delighted to welcome the Vienna Vikings back to Hohe Warte after a four-year hiatus. We congratulate them on their successes in recent years and hope that Hohe Warte can contribute to a possible title defense by the professional team in the European League of Football. Football at Hohe Warte is always an experience."
