A Night To Remember - Champions start pre-season at the Vienna Marriott Hotel
In the glamorous setting of the Vienna Marriott Hotel, the Vienna Vikings celebrated the official 2023 Season Kickoff. The team gathered together, under the guidance of Head Coach Chris Calaycay, to start the new season of the European League of Football with delicious American Football signature dishes such as burgers, chicken wings, or hot dogs.
During the team dinner, the championship rings were also presented to the players, coaches, and staff who celebrated the dominant victory against the Hamburg Sea Devils in the final last year in Klagenfurt (click here to see the highlights). "Tonight, with the ring ceremony, we close the final chapter of the 2022 season and simultaneously start writing the first chapter of 2023. This team event is special in two ways. The past year was exceptional, but so is this night. We will celebrate today and through socializing, we will 'work' on our team chemistry. The real 'work' starts tomorrow when the official pre-season of the European League of Football 2023 begins," said Head Coach Calaycay, expressing his excitement alongside his players and coaches.
A Purple Radiant Beauty - The Vienna Vikings Championship Rings 2022
The championship rings of the Vienna Vikings were designed and produced by Red's Rings, whose design convinced with exceptional attention to detail and symbolism. "After the victory in the ELF finale in Klagenfurt, nearly 20 companies approached us wanting to create the championship ring for us. We then chose Red's Rings and couldn't be happier with our decision. The ring is truly a radiant beauty in purple. The front side is modeled after the shape of the trophy, while the stylized V naturally represents Vienna and the Vikings," said Kiki Klepsch, Director of Communications at the Vienna Vikings. The ring sides feature details and elements related to Vienna, the team slogan, the final score, and the stadium of the championship game.
